Fenella Buchanan
I am an experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant and Humanities tutor whose practice is grounded in calm structure, rigorous safeguarding, and a deep respect for neurodivergent learners. Over the last decade, I have navigated the education system for my own daughters and worked across both mainstream and specialist settings. This dual perspective—as both a professional and a parent—drives my commitment to providing a space where young people feel safe enough to learn.

Why Emberfield Growth Exists
Emberfield Growth grew out of years of working alongside thoughtful, curious, creative young people who struggled to remain well in systems that were never designed with them in mind.
Over time, it became clear to me that many young people do not need more pressure or intervention — they need calm structure, meaningful relationships, time to think, and space to grow into themselves.
The Vision: Starting Small with Big Dreams
I believe in starting small to ensure absolute integrity. Emberfield launched as a private mentoring practice because the model only works when it is built carefully, relationally, and with complete commitment to every young person in the room.
The next chapter is already in motion. Emberfield Growth is now registered on the Buckinghamshire Family Information Service Directory and is actively pursuing formal approval as an EOTAS provider with Bucks LA. By joining the Founding Four, you are not supporting a future dream. You are part of something that is already becoming real.
